New quantitative descriptors of amino acids based on multidimensional scaling of a large number of physical-chemical properties. J. Mol. Model. 7(12):445-453, 2001. Each nonapeptide is broken into 45 substrings with max size of 9 and minimum size of 1. For each substring average of five vectors is calculated. There are 225 input descriptor for each peptide. SVM was used to build the model with calibrant data set. Radial function was used (weight 1). The sensitivity on the calibrant dataset was 100% and specificity was 95%. The SVM application was run at the website: http://svm.nbcr.net/. No cross validation was performed.
